Value based care is an emerging concept adopted by many healthcare organizations to promote clinical efficiency, control rising health care costs, and ensure patients receive the right care at the right time. However, many healthcare leaders are fearful to self-initiate the level of care required to succeed in an era in which innovation and speed of change must become their ultimate competitive advantage. This session assists participants in understanding evolution of healthcare organizations from a volume-based world to a value-based world. It offers participants insight on limits of contemporary methods to successfully attain the required level of transformational change and the characteristics of a top performer.
