Programs

Chair: Tila Smith

The Programs Committee provides relevant educational and networking opportunities for ACHE Canada members that are accessible, affordable and include Canadian content. It supports the ACHE credentialing process by providing in-person Education and Virtual Education (i.e. education that is eligible for FACHE credit) whenever possible.

Membership & Advancement

Chair: Marcy Saxe-Braithwaite

The Membership and Advancement Committee champions the growth, engagement, and advancement of ACHE Canada members. Through strategic recruitment, meaningful member experiences, and leadership development opportunities, the committee fosters a vibrant community of healthcare leaders committed to excellence, lifelong learning, and professional achievement.  They act as the welcoming face of the chapter, ensuring members feel connected and supported, and enable ACHE members to become part of a network of thought leaders who are there to support one another. The committee also supports members in their pursuit of the FACHE® credential and active engagement within the ACHE community.

Communications Committee

Chair: Rejeanna Matear

The Communications Committee oversees ACHE Canada’s internal and external communications, ensuring timely, consistent, and engaging messaging across all chapter channels. The committee serves as a steward of the chapter’s brand and member experience by maintaining the chapter website, managing social media platforms, developing newsletters and promotional materials, and supporting media and public relations activities. Through these efforts, the committee keeps members informed, promotes chapter initiatives and events, and strengthens engagement within Canada’s healthcare leadership community.

Nominating Committee

Chair: Michelle Hunter

The Nominating Committee helps ensure ACHE Canada’s continued success by identifying, recruiting, and recommending qualified leaders for Board, Officer, and committee roles. The committee oversees the nominations process, supports leadership succession planning, and fosters a strong pipeline of engaged member leaders. Through its work, the committee promotes effective governance, leadership continuity, and the long-term sustainability of the chapter.

Audit Committee

Chair: Guy Bourbonniere

The Audit committee ensures the chapter's financial transparency and fiscal integrity. They oversee financial reporting, internal controls, and compliance with ACHE regulations. It plays a vital role in overseeing financial reporting, internal controls, and compliance to ensure organizational transparency and accountability. Responsibilities include conducting annual audits, reviewing bank reconciliations and financial statements, advising the board on financial best practices, and collaborating with external auditors. Members help safeguard chapter assets, promote fiscal integrity, and maintain adherence to organizational policies and ethical standards.
