Shutterstock Image Guidelines
ACHE provides the use of Shutterstock images for your Chapter website. The Chapter needs to find the images they would like to use and send a request using the form below. Typically, the images are used for the Homepage Slider, and for News or Event thumbnails.
The images used for the Homepage Slider should be selected with a very wide, and a not very tall, aspect ratio like this 1920 x 512 pixel example. Select images that will work well in a panoramic view cropped like the sample image above.
The images used for the News and Events Tiles should be selected with a 3:4 aspect ratio, like this sample image at 600 x 400 pixels.
How to use Shutterstock
Go to the Shutterstock website in a web browser and use the search field to look for images. When you find an image you want to use for your Chapter, click on the image to go to the details screen.
On the detail screen, look for the "Image Details" in the right column under the pricing options. An Asset Number is displayed (red arrow). Copy this number and paste it into the form below. In the field next to the asset number, describe the image and where you want it to be used on the website. See example below.
